For more than 10 years, I worked in various communications advice and management roles. For very different organisations within the telecom sector and business and financial services.
Then I switched to recruiting marketing and communications professionals for executive and interim positions, in which I now have 20 years experience.
In 2009 I founded my own agency, Alice Pley Search, which has become a well-established name with an excellent reputation in executive search and interim management for board, management and senior advisory roles in marketing and communications.
I know all my clients and candidates through and through, and I take great pleasure in that. They immediately sense that I understand them, as I used to be active in the field myself. I still keep a close tab on the developments within the field of marketing and communications, amongst others through relevant seminars and the many conversations I have with professionals in the field.
Also, the clients I work for make me happy. The dynamics of large organisations intrigue and inspire me, and the economic and social impact these large organisations have. It’s great to be able to contribute by finding the right heavyweight for a position with great responsibility.
Alice is everything you would expect (and more) from a good executive search professional in the field of communications and marketing, but rarely see in practice. Based on personal experience, she thoroughly knows the field, knows what the opportunities and challenges are and knows the dynamics of a communications department. She has an excellent network on both the demand and supply side, is honest and sincere, clear with no hidden agendas, and super service minded.
It is always a pleasure to catch up with Alice, to use her as a sounding board and to have a laugh. Alice really is one of the best in her field.
Alice never gives up! She is genuinely interested in people, asks a lot of good questions and looks beyond the customary solutions. She has guided me as candidate and helped me find candidates. In both capacities she is someone you can trust completely, who is honest and tells things as they are.
